by

Welcome Back

We hope you are getting back into the swing of things. A reminder that our first event this year is 23 Feb at Productspec HQ, 14 Holland Street, Te Aro, Wellington. As always, the doors open at 5.30pm, drinks and nibbles available then presentations from 6pm.

CostX – BIM Beyond 3D

Ever wondered how QS’s and Contractors price your 3D models? Tony Shaw gives us a live demo using CostX, an advanced on-screen electronic measurement and estimating system, to harvest quantities from Revit models for pricing.

Playing Well With Others

Matt shows us how to successfully import and export IFC’s.

Amazing Schedules

Kevin from GHD illustrates that breakthroughs he has made using the power of schedules!

From the comments made at the last meeting we are also planning to have an open problem-solving session so please forward screenshots with a brief explanation of the issue and bring along the file on the night. Before the event we’ll be sending out the issues for everyone to have a crack at solving.

If you have anything you’d like us to cover or would like to do a presentation this year please let us know.

Tell your workmates / friends / fellow Revit users and we look forward to seeing you soon : )

15 NZIA CPD points are available.
