April Event Follow up

April 28, 2011

Thanks to all of those the participated in last nights event.

Again a round of thanks to everyone who has been there, presented or participated in the last 3 years that RUG[Well] has been around.  Happy Birthday Us!

That link will take you through to a great blog post from the factory about importing your existing AutoCAD or Custom patterns.

We have a couple of suggestions for next months presentation, even the month after, but it would be great to have some new presenters.  Surely everyone must be getting sick of listening to my voice by now?!  Email me and I’ll help make the process as easy and painless as possible.

“The best way to learn something is to have to teach someone else.” very wise words from Kevin!

April Event

April 26, 2011

Back to Basics follow up…
Firstly, we’d like to thank all RUGWELL’ers for a lively and well-attended March session.  Great to see so many new faces, returning participants, and new presenters.

For the April event we will follow on from our Back to Basics series with presentations requested by the group.

Seeing a Pattern by Matt Pettengell (Productspec)
Have you ever struggled to get that hatch patten looking right?  What about a custom pattern?  Matt will take us through the Fill Pattern creations process and look at retrieving those old AutoCAD favourites.

All that Dirt by Grant Taylor (Caduceus)
Grant is going to present his well-tested presentation of Topography and graded surfaces.

Acid Test by Kevin Thickett (GHD)
Kevin will show us how Revit MEP can handle hazardous materials and produce shop drawings and schedules.  This demo is a great example of where you can take Revit!

If you have anything you’d like us to cover or would like to do a presentation this year please let us know.

Tell your workmates / friends / fellow Revit users and we look forward to seeing you soon : )
15 NZIA CPD points are available.
